Whenever I video my students I always ask them what they like about skiing. Peyton’s answer is priceless – thank you Peyton!

 

In this video I am skiing backwards and videoing Peyton. I intentionally asked her to watch where we are going to make sure I don’t run into anything. This was a prompt for her to always watch where she is going. I also was reminding her about the “wedge” shape to make her turns. I was also intentionally setting the track for her to follow – round turns that go back and forth across the hill to keep her speed in control. Right as we get started she says, “You’re nuts!” because I am skiing backwards – kids say the funniest things – I’ll bet someone in your family says, “You’re nuts!” (Shannon maybe?). Enjoy the video!
